Toronto completed their perfect weekend with a 25-18 rout over the New York Empire. Most importantly, Cam Harris returned to form after an iffy outing against D.C. He threw five assists and was even a lynchpin in retrieving the disc after an offensive turn; Harris led the team with two blocks. 

Rush Pull Away From Outlaws

Fresh off of their first loss in 2018, the Toronto Rush were not going to take the Ottawa Outlaws lightly. Though they began slowly, even tied at 10-10 midway through the second quarter, the Rush dominated the rest of the game. The final score was 27-17 for Toronto, as the Rush were even able to shut down some of their top guys towards the end in preparation for Sunday’s clash against New York. For now, the battle for Ontario remains firmly one-sided. 

Toronto vs. Ottawa - Round Two

The second match between the Toronto Rush (8-1) and the Ottawa Outlaws (2-7) could not occur in more different circumstances from the first. The May contest saw Toronto host Ottawa on the Sunday after a Saturday massacre of the D.C Breeze. Toronto was tired, yet content and satiated.
